What should I do with my hair?

Right I went to the hairdressers about two weeks ago and asked for it shorter. My hair used to be below shoulder length but I got it cut too short. So I'm wearing it in a pony tail until I can grow it out but I think plain pony tails are so boring. I read a couple of ideas in a magazine like curling bits of the pony tail and stuff like that.

Any tips.
I'll be happy enough when it grows back out. But just for the next couple of weeks I need a change!!

try teasing or backcombing it, giving it a little 'bump' is a cute way to jazz up your pony tail... you can also purchase "bumpits", they can help you make that 'bump' if its too hard to do it by yourself... for more information and pictres.. you can google -teased pony

• Part your hair on the side
  
  Grab a pinch (a good chunk) and twist it towards the back and bobby pin it up in the center (about 1/2 way through your hair, so some hangs out the top)
  
  Continue until all your hair is up in bobby pins (you can do it with LOTS of bobby pins or just a few... depending on how much hair you pinch and how you want it to look)
  
  It looks SOOO cute... however... you want to go cuter? You can always take a tiny curling iron and curl the ends that hang out on top of the bobby pins... TOO CUTE! :) It looks great with short hair and super long hair... try it sometime, you will love it... and there are so many ways to variate it!
