How do 'celebrities' dye their hair so many times and it still comes out looking awesome?
Ya know, like all nice and smooth and not frizzy and dry. I really don't get it. :| I have to leave conditioner in my hair for like 5 minutes so it looks nice. Ever since I've dyed it (about two months ago for the very first time) it's been dry after I was my hair. And I wash every other day. Can anyone tell me why?? I also am losing a ton more hair than normal. I used to only lose like a few hairs a day but now it's way more. Not to the point where I might be going bald but..just a lot! How do I fix that?
I want to re-dye my hair but I don't want it to get all dry again on me. I need to bleach it to lighten it and put another color close to my natural color get my hair evened out before Christmas.
How do the 'celebs' do it?? It's crazy! yeesh...
Thanks!

I change my hair quite frequently. I've gone to bed with conditioner in my hair or just gotten my hair entirely wet, put it up with a towel so it's still wet but not drenched and apply conditioner all over. then i will wrap it back up with a towel or saran wrap until it gets kinda crunchy and for the most part dried up. it really helps. um. there is a product from redken called cat which is about $16, which is kinda pricy, but it does work. you just spray it in your hair while in the shower after conditioning and leave it in until it feels kinda sticky. also when showering leave the conditioner in as long as you can, when you're shaving your legs or whatever, just leave it in. you shouldn't wash your hair unless it really needs it (gets greasy fast, starchy feeling, etc.) condition everyday. try not to wash it just whenever, because it's better to have the natural oils in your hair, leaving it healthier. also massaging the scalp helps ciculation making it healthier. Dark colors tend to make your hair healthier feeling again. but i'd follow those procedures to help your hairs health. :]

- bc they have the best ppl do it
and they can afford the best product - They can afford to go to crazily expensive salons. They can practically do magic there. I would definitely dye your hair in a salon, if that wasn't what you were doing before. Talk to your stylist about "safe" dyes. I would also switch to a hydrating conditioner. I use pureology, but it is rather expensive. Once again, ask if your salon offers any high-level hydrating conditioners at discounted rates. And yeah, unless you live in Beverly Hills and are really wealthy, it would be hard to do it the "celebrity way."
