Know how to make straight hair ..?

Resolved Question

Know how to make straight hair ..?

Curly?...

I hate the way curls look using my straightening iron (GHD'S)
It hardly ever looks decent when ever i try curling my hair with them.
i tried plaiting my hair when it was wet months ago & i looked like i was 5 again with crimped hair.

Any ideas at all, i will try.
My hair is naturally, straight and thin which is horrible.
Just hoping to make it look nice for a change!

I've tried searching the internet for ideas i'm not just being lazy!, but i just wanted other opinions.. or anyone with experience who has also tried turning straight hair curly..

Thank-youou Before hand!!

my hair is naturally straight too so i have this problem sometimes, but ive found a way :)
after washing your hair, brush it through and towel dry it, then split it into 2-4 sections, depending how curly you want it,
then with each section, put a bobble round it and wind it round into a tight bun, makes sure you use 2 or 3 bobbles so it stays put,
then them in over night and take out the bobbles in the morning,
then to encourage your curls to stay all day, tip your head upside down and get a little bit of moose or gel on your hands, then scrunch your hair up, ruffle it, and swoosh your head back up :)
...sorry that was kinda long winded but hope i helped :)

  • Hi, i was exactly the same as you, my hair is naturally straight and i can NOT curl them with straighteners. So i got this thing called a curling wand:

You wrap your hair around them and they curl it really well, it lasts as well if the curls start off tight and you put a decent amount of hair spray on it. =]
  • i have super straight fine hair and i use sponge rollers. I barely dampen my hair and roll it with sponge rollers all over (choose size of rollers depending on size of curl you want) and sleep in them over night. In the morning my hair is dry and curly.
  • try heated rollers or a curler some brands that make curlers: toni & guy, babyliss, remington etc... gd luck :-) !!!!!!
  • i've got very naturally straight hair, in 2002, i loved it...as i had Avril Lavigne hair, which was trendy back then, but i eventually got sick of it last year. right now, i towel dry my hair then apply volume mousse, and put it into velcro rollers for a couple of minutes, then i dry my hair with the rollers still in, leave them in for 5 more minutes, then take them out, rough up my hair and apply lots of hairspray. it works quite good on my hair, and it's the way they did it in the '80s, but then again, my hair is very thick...so it holds the rollers quite easy, but i suggest you try it....it'll give you great volume and curls at the end, at the least.
