Wrecked hair :( help ?
i think i've really damaged my hair :( it breaks very easy when i wash it and when i blow dry it? i don't think its hair loss as my hair is still thick, i have greasy hair so i wash my hair very often but i think maybe this bad habit with blow drying and straightening is only making it worse, any tips how i can restore health to my hair ? what do you guys do ?

try using a shampoo and conditoner made for your hair type
(gainer fructus does one for greasy roots and dry ends i used to use it)
regular deep conditioning treatments - at least once a week
(you can use your usuall conditioner if you cant afford treatments. try not to put it on the roots but put extra on the ends of your hair and just leave it on your hair for at least 20minutes before rinsing it all off)
use a low heat setting when you blow dry
using a heat protection spray whenever you straightnen your hair coz this helps protect your hair from damage from the heat.
2 be honest with you hun i think you need to leave off the straightnening for at least couple of weeks (yes i know thats gunna be hard) as you hair sounds seriously damaged and only straighten it if you really have to...
i suggest that if your hair is breaking off you need to go to a good salon for more advice. it may cost you but they can advise you alot better than anyone on here.
sounds like you may have spilt ends so your hair will need a cut anyways, which will also make it easier for you to manage...

- First of all u need to go to the hairdressers to rid ur hair of any split ends. When straightening ur hair always use a protective heat barrier and do not straighten ur hair every day! If ur scalp is very greasy then it is ok to wash every day. Leave ur hair to dry naturally as often as u can and also look at ur diet too. Cut down on sat fat, dairy and red meat and increase ur intake of fresh fruit and veg especially dark ones like leafy greens and berries. Include good fats found in avocado, nuts seeds and olive oil. Eat raw food as often as u can. Not only will ur hair look and feel amazing so will the rest of u!
- I use straightners on my hair alot so i use a moisturising shampoo and conditioner which is good for making dry hair look healthy again. I also use a 2 mintute treatment inbetween the shampoo and conditioner.
I have also started using vo5 hot oil once a week which makes it really soft and smooth and healthy.
Hope this helps :) - NOT DAMAGED HAIR ON A LADY!
First, one needs to take a trip to her local supermarket, and look for some health-replenishing Shampoo and Conditioner!
Because your hair is breaking when it is being blow dried/straightened, is because your hair is not exceptionally healthy, nor is your Shampoo heat-protective!
Simple problem fixed in a few weeks, no massive dramas.Source(s):
- Use Mark Hill hair conditioner and shampoo it works on all hair or maybe John Freida it is for all types x
- stop blow drying it!!! that is the reason why your hair is wrecked!!
