Hair dye on skin HELP?

Resolved Question

Hair dye on skin HELP?

What is the best thing to remove hair dye from your skin, just dyed my hair and managed to get as much on my skin as on my hair lol.

When i dyed my hair I just had to scrub my skin with normal skin wash and wait for it to wear off naturally.

Next time put vaseline where you don't want the dye to go and wash it off as soon as you're done, I've found that helps. Feels kinda icky though

  • Try nail varnish remover it seemed to work on me but be sure to like take it all off properly or your'll smell of it :L

But what i usually do it get a baby wipe and go around all the skin when the dye is setting on my hair.

    Hope i helped :)
  • Cigarette Ashes and spit - works great!
it sounds nasty, but that's the age old trick i learned at beauty school.

Also, wherever it got on your skin... wipe it off with more of the same color that you used, and then rinse it off.

last but not least, paul mitchell "wipeout" works great
  • It depends on what kind you used. Sometimes you can just wash it off with soap and water. Try wetting a cotton pad with some rubbing alcohol and rubbing it over the spots, it's worked for me a few times.
  • nail polish remover
