Hair goes frizzy on top when I use an afro comb?

Resolved Question

Hair goes frizzy on top when I use an afro comb?

My hair is very wavy and my hairdresser recommended that I use a leave in conditioner and an afro comb - this will help my hair not dry out and also it will keep the waves together rather than brushing which turns my hair into a bush. But when I do this the top of my hair goes really frizzy, I guess because I'm not brushing it to smooth it out. The rest of the hair looks great so I don't want to stop this method. How do I stop the frizz on top without brushing? I've tried serum also....

Additional Details

Because Tom, you w@nker, I don't want to stop using the comb and conditioner but perhaps some people have tips on what ELSE to do to stop the frizz. Clearly you have no bloody idea so why answer?

use a little pomade, get a cream pomade though not a grease pomade just a little bit will smooth it down and make it a bit shiny too!

  • You don't like it and yet you don't want to change what you're doing. Right

Why bother asking when the obvious answer would be to change what you're doing?
