Will my hair grow back if I cut it short ?

I have had my hair long down to the middle of my back for the last decade and really think it's time for a change!
My Mum says that it might not grow back again to this length if I cut it 'at this stage of my life' lol (I'm 30)
Is she right? I'm scared now!!

Your hair will continue to grow for the rest of your life. If you cut it all off, even if you shave your head bald, it will grow back. Might take a while, but it'll regrow. ;)

• yes of course it will grow back, but yes it will take a long time to grow that long
