Hair probs please help?>?
got naturally frizzy hair and would like it to be smooth and frizz free but hate blowdrying and straighten it.can the right shampoo help like pantene smooth and sleek shampoo or any other??

for frizzy hair, I really wouldn't reccommend pantene as it contains a lot of alcohol, which is a drying ingredient for someone who needs moisture! use a more natural product, for example Aveda, however this can be expensive, so maybe even try frizz ease. And definitely use a serum- this will smooth down flyaways and make it more soft to touch.good luck and hope this helps :)

- Keep your hair well conditioned with a rich moisturising product.
(if you were cutting your hair) The hairstyle is also important. If your hair is very frizzy you don't want too many layers. Have a few longish ones that will allow your hair to flow.
your hair is dry, because you are lacking in natural oils.if you nurture your hair by brushing vigorously 100 times a day, with an all-natural bristle brush, or if you pamper our hair with hot oil treatments or smother out hair with cholesterols, then you are sure to be blessed with beautiful, shiny and healthy locks.
here are some alternatives:
- Once a week, use an ultra nourishing shea butter mask to soften and deeply nourish your hair. Do this before shampooing, and leave it in for at least half an hour, wrapping your hair in a hot towel. If your hair is extremely dry then leave your masks on overnight and wash your hair in the morning - it will be visibly softer.
- Use palm, jojoba or monoi oil. They hydrate and nourish very dry and damaged hair. Apply in the evening and leave in overnight, then wash and rinse in the morning. Your hair will be strong and bright.
- Do as the Moroccans do and use rassoul (a natural clay). Dilute it in water to form a mud-like substance that foams and absorbs grease. This shampoo/conditioner has been used since ancient times by women in the Atlas mountains to restore softness and shine.Source(s):
- ok by the looks of things some people have copied and pasted off some random website but heres what you should do:
wash your hair with a frizz free shampoo like pantene smooth which is the one you put in your description and then rinse out. next wash hair with a conditioner from the same brand. and rinse out really well.
if you are in the US then use sabino moisture block if not find another moisture locking leave in product. start by towel drying hair then apply it in the areas your hair frizzes.
now blow dry our hair as usual.
ok now add more moisutre block .
this should work it does for me
hope i helped
x - I have natural and have very kinky, curly hair as well. I am so familiar with this problem. Before I give you any advice about products and such I have to tell you that it takes a while for the hair to be trained and once your hair is trained then it really doesn't matter what kind of products you use. In my opinion shampoo and conditioner is not such a big deal. I use Tresemme shampoo and conditioner,I always use a leave in conditioner, as well as a heat protector spray by Tresemme. Also, rinse with tepid water, actually as cool as you can take it, it makes the hair shine. After that I use the leave in conditioner and the heat protector spray. I try to let my hair air dry as much as possible to illuminate the amount of heat. So, then I blow dry! This is when the Super Skinny Serum comes in to play, then I use a light oil, like Hot Six. Its a liquid, this helps to lubricate the hair so that it doesn't singe while flat ironing. Now, use a small amount of oil but for the first day it will seem a little heavy but not super heavy, you will still have major body. Always remember to wrap your hair at night with a soft/slick material so that it doesn't pull or split. One last thing, a lot of people spend macho bucks on expensive flat irons but I kid you not, I paid 15 bucks for my flat iron and it is the best one I have ever owned. I wouldn't make it without my flat iron. It is Andris and I purchased from Walmart Actually all of the products I use can be bought from Walmart.I hope this information is helpful. Don't lose hope and remember once you train your hair it will be almost as if you have a different texture and then it will be more manageable..
