How does the girl in Glee get her hair like this?

I have a picture of one of the characters from the channel 4 / E4 channel and I really like how she styles her hair and was wondering how she might get her hair like this.

Hopefully this picture will work. If you cannot see the picture the girl I am on about is an Asian girl who is one of the backing singers in glee and she has blue bits in her hair which I thought was really cool.

she most probably has a black bob cut,and puts hundreds of long thick extensions in,as if it were naturally that long,it wouldn't look like that,and the blue streaks are blue extensions clipped in.

• you could strip/dye your hair yourself.
  go into boots, buy the b-blonde highlighting kit. bleach your hair for an hr using that (the parts u want to dye!!) then add the colour later.
  (die hair black before u bleach if u need to!)

• hers are probably extensions but if you got them done for real your hairdresser would bleach the parts of your hair that you wanted blue then dye them
• straighten it, part it in the middle and put blue extensions in
