1) no, i always brush my hair. you have to!
2) yes, everyone makes mistakes, but just be careful if she says anymore mean things
3) just ignore her, and do what you want. If she gets more horrible, stop hanging around with her

  • Brushing your hair actually 'at lunch' is disgusting because you will be spreading your hair and any dust/bugs that are on it all over other people's food. If it does need brushing, then it is more hygeinic (not to mention polite!) to go and do it in the bathroom or cloakroom.

There's nothing wrong with brushing your hair when it needs it, but if you're doing it "all the time" then thats pretty vain, and if you always need to brush your hair after activities or going out in the wind, then maybe you should carry a clip or band to tie it back at those times.

NO NEED TO SHOUT - all the answers about brushing your hair at the table were based on your original, incomplete information. Grow up.
  • 1) If there is food around, you might not want to do that, some people might find that slightly disturbing
    2) Yes, she should still be your friend. You're just brushing your hair, its not that big of a deal
    3) Actually, brushing your hair all the time, isn't that healthy for your hair. It said that in a TeenVogue issue, I just can't remember which one. So you might want to lay down the hairbrush for a while.

    Hope I helped!
  • 1. It's not wrong (you didn't do it at the table though right?)
    2. If she is really your friend she will apologise (she is probably jealous of you or was having a bad day)
    3. See what she says to you when you next see her, if she apologises fine move on if not.......find a new friend! =D

  • Some time ago while on a train my can of drink was covered in flakes, I looked like it had snowed indoors, but it was a result of the person in the seat in front of me scratching his scalp, put me off my drink. Your hair may be very clean but it's not the best idea to combe it when other people are eating/drinking.
  • don't do it around food.. thats gross.
yeh course she should still be your friend.. its just one little argument.
get over it, and don't brush your hair too often because it's damaging for your hair and don't do it around food because it's discusting, could go in the food!
  • there's nothing wrong with brushing your hair (:
ignore your friend, she's just being silly.
maybe it bothers her that you spend more time on your hair than with her? just let her know that she's your friend, but you need to spend time on your hair sometimes.
  • 1.Wow no its not wrong at all ! as long as your not hanging over their food letting it all fall in lol
2.Erm yea but always put your nicer friends first
3.Stand up to her your only caring about your appearanceee.

    :)
  • 1. If you did it at the table while people were eating then yes it is wrong cos bits of hair/dandruff etc can fly off into peoples food.

    2. Grow up.

    3. Grow up!
  • Did you actually brush it sitting at the table with food around? Thats horrid, but only because of the food aspect.

Brush your hair as often as you want!!
  • Brushing your hair at lunch- definitely a big no no! yuck -.-"
Brushing it too often is bad for your hair it could even start falling!
  • u might put hair i n someones food ! yuck
