hi, red is a very hard colour to take out of hair, i no ash brown will take out the warm colours out of your hair, go to your mans cousins salon and ask him you want to take out all the warm colours out of your hair and want it a brown im sure he will advise you to colour it ash brown, hope this helped
good luck
oh and also by bleaching your hair you wont get rid of the red tone, i have tryed this before, you will just damage your hair and make it orange

- Well one thing is not going to get rid of it. You are going to have to bleach it out then tone it with an ash dye in the color that you want. The ash will tone out the red. Then, if you are still seeing red (which you may if you use box junk) use a tonihg shampoo like Simply Silver. It is a purple shampoo that takes out brassy tones.

- I suggest that you go to a salon and have a stylist do this for you.Don't attempt to do this by yourself. You won't get the results that you want with the at home dye kits.Stylists are trained in how to mix the right proportions of chemicals for your hair and they are also trained in skin coloring, which is important to carry a new hair color off, just my thoughts.
