Henna doesn't come in specific colors. In only comes in red, and one type of red. You can darken and lighten henna with things like cassia and indigo, but there's no guarantee the color will come out like the picture you have.

• hers looks chemically dyed to me. I don't think that henna can guarantee a certain color like that, usually henna just makes your hair a certain shade of red, which you have already said you don't like. tho lush does a range of henna dyes, i have never used them myself, but they look interesting.

it may be more curly, because by cutting it shorter you're losing the weight you have when it's long. But I say go for it! I'm sure you'll be able to style it how you want it. Might need a bit more straightening though to combat the tighter curls :)

• Yes. No matter what you do, it will always be curly. You could have it chemically straightened but I really don't recommend this because it seriously damages your hair. You could straighten it every day, but be sure to use a straightening protector spray so that you don't damage it.
  
  But in my opinion, I think curly hair is beautiful! Be thankful you have it, cos I can never get my hair to curl.

• Yes it will still be cur;y. It may even be curlier. My friend once had pretty curls then she cut her hair and her hair got even curlier. Now it like impossible to straiten. But i love her anyways! hehe!

What is the best hairstyle for round head?

i have curly hair and for the past 3 years i have had the same hairstyle, curly hair and a across the forehead straightened fringe. my hairis about armpit length. lol.
i have a rather large face, chubby cheeks and i don't think my forehead is the smallest therefore finding it really hard to find that perfect hair style.

Round faceshapes shouldn't go too short in their haircuts because it only emphasizes the wideness and roundness of your face shape.
Therefore, rounder faces should stick to long hair. This adds an effect/ appearance of a 'longer' , more oval looking face shape! (aka the most ideal face shape ).
Try to grow out your fringe , placing hair on your face only shortens it even more. You want to lengthen your face, not add to it's roundness. Besides, while it's growing out, it'll be a continuous new look - from side bangs fringe, to longer bangs almost like a shorter layer, to full length hair.

• okay well i have a round face too and i know another girl with the same face as me (people say we look like twins ) and we have the same hair and it took me really long but i think this looks the best with our kind of face .
  i have hair about 2 inches past my shoulders and side bangs that start at my eye and angle down to about the end of my ear . its parted far over to the left . if i take my finge and run it down my face from where my part is it hits the end of my eye brow .

Black hair dye causing my hair loss?

About a month and a half ago I used Schwarzkopf permanent Black XXL Hair dye and since then my hair has been shedding like mad.

The floorboards under my bed and my duvet and pillow cases are literally covered in my hair, and when I shower my hands are covered in my head hair when I wash my hair. I'm only 22 and it's quite worrying.

Can anyone please offer me any advice on what to do?

This happens to me whenever i dye my hair a dark color. It's probably just more noticeable because it's so dark. It's been a month and a half, does your hair seem thinner or are you just noticing a lot of it? if it doesn't seem thinner, i would not worry, you probably just never noticed it as much before, plus, people shed, just like animals.

I really like this hairstyle in the picture. I'm trying to grow my hair from a Victorian Bob, and i have a round face. When i looked on the internet for ' Medium length hairstyles for round faces' this was one that really caught my eye and i really really like it, and because it's medium length it wouldn't take me so long to grow as if i wanted it full length.

ok so i current have:
black hair,
dark brown eyes, (very dark)
lighter brown eyebrows (not too thin, not too thick)
and my hair is naturally brown though everyone says they would never know.

My head aint round, and its kina just a normal shape.. and i have quite pale skin (but will use tinted body lotion if it helps haha)

Id quite like to get my hair stripped and dyed another colour (yes i know the concequences lol.)

  to strip dye your hair, the shade of you're chosen dye colour has to be darker then your natural hair colour.
  So i would advice some sort of reddish mahogany shade that is no more then two shades lighter or darker then your natural hair colour.

they really aren't the best things to use on your hair, better off taking the time to blow dry it as straight as possible with a brush then go over with a decent straightener, doing it this way lessens the time the straighteners are on your hair so causes less damage. Straighteners that heat up to 230 degrees are best and don't forget to use heat protector!

Well hair grows 1/2 inch every mth
.. so i'd say like a year and a half.

But try using Mane N' Tail Horse Shampoo. I use it all the time and it makes your hair grow faster. You can find it at walmart in the pet section. also you should drink plenty of water to condition your hair and when shampooing and conditioning you should use cold or
luke warm water on your hair so it won't damage it. Even hot water hurts your hair.

• it depends on how fast your hair grows. hair grows tha max of half an inch per month. in order for your hair to grow you must be very healthy! and eat alotta foods with vitamin E like eggs and nuts! so it would take a year and a few months!
• If you went to the hair dressers every six months or less to have the dead ends trimmed, i would bet you just over a year
• Hair grows about a half an inch per month so whatever the length from your head to your shoulders is....
• I don't see how shaving your hair would make it grow faster.......

ive had the same hair cut before and the same problem for that matter. i ended up getting a round brush to curls the ends up when I blow dried them. then got some hair wax and pulled at the ends until they were kinda clumped together....just the tips though...if you do too much it weighs it down.

I have really natually really curly hair, its light brown and has natural blonde highlights ( it looks better than it sounds honest) like i would call it firty blonde rather than brown!?

i agree with the first answer, print off a few pictures of her hair (try to get a pic of the back as well), take them with you and when they ask what you want done ask if they can cut your hair similar to hers! it sounds stupid, but hairdressers get these type of requests all the time, so dont be scared to show them the pictures!

Backcomb it straight up.
Then hairsprayy.
To backcomb hold a piece of your hair straight up and using a comb push it against the root of your hair.
Won't take long, maybe about 10 mins :).
Do the same for the side, backcomb and then push it to the side. Then hairspray.
Do the right side first :)

hi, red is a very hard colour to take out of hair, i no ash brown will take out the warm colours out of your hair, go to your mans cousins salon and ask him you want to take out all the warm colours out of your hair and want it a brown im sure he will advise you to colour it ash brown, hope this helped

• Well one thing is not going to get rid of it. You are going to have to bleach it out then tone it with an ash dye in the color that you want. The ash will tone out the red. Then, if you are still seeing red (which you may if you use box junk) use a tonihg shampoo like Simply Silver. It is a purple shampoo that takes out brassy tones.

  Personally, the ginger gene runs in my family, somewhat because my dad and his brother are ginger, whereas their sister is blonde, but they have 2 ginger kids and a blonde, and they're so cute! I love my cousins. :P
